About Jessica...

I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFTC) specializing in family systems theories and how they affect us as individuals and within relationships in our daily lives.

Traditional Therapist:

As a trained family therapist, I often see the world through a family as a whole system’s ideology.  This means that I am often looking through a lens of attachments to families of origin, how family histories may be affecting today's struggles, current relationship interactions and how we can recreate an authentic healthy relationship with ourselves and within our daily interactions with those around us. This also means that I am trained to work with you as an individual or with your entire family as a whole with an ability to utilize the larger picture of our experiences to help you on your individual healing journey.

I see myself as a guide to help you find emotional peace and healing through experiential learning and depth processing of your personal experiences. I will guide you through gaining confidence in your authentic self and emotional understanding decreasing negative symptoms you experience (i.e. anxiety, depression, grief, fear, pain, insecurities, etc).

Equine-Assisted Psychotherapist:

I am an extensively trained equine-assisted psychotherapist that has been graced with a very spiritual, animated, wild and free unique herd of horses that has spent their lives healing us humans. Every day, the herd is a part of goosebumps and unexplainable experiencing healing myself, families, adults, children and anyone who crosses their paths. We have spent years living as a family of horses and humans intertwined, learning how to life in the way of the horse: agape love, trust, freedom, in the moment and in the spirit with a foundation in spiritual teachings.

Our herd is free of human harm and stall bound restrictions, living together as a family whole. Just as we humans live and interact together, the herd lives as a family with bickering, cuddling, shared resources and freedom to choose how they trust each other.

My herd and I are here to hear you.
