About Jessica

Jessica L. Lee, MA, MFTC, RP, OK

"When I am in that dark abyss, I want someone comforting, yet skilled.  I want someone to listen and to “get” me, but I don’t want them to disempower me in the process.  I don’t want someone who thinks they are better than me because they “have a degree”.  I want someone that I can collaborate with to get new ways of looking at things, or that I can trust when they are guiding me to look at deeper issues within myself.  I don’t want to be diagnosed; I want someone to see that hidden spark that I am and to help me reignite that flame.  And it would be helpful if they had a sense of humor, a creative way of working with me and fur."

Jessica is a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFTC) specializing in  equine-assisted psychotherapy and family systems theories and how they affect us both individually and within relationship.

I see myself as a guide to help you find emotional peace and healing through experiential learning and depth processing of your personal experiences. I will guide you through gaining confidence in your authentic self and emotional understanding decreasing negative symptoms you experience. My herd and I are here to hear you.

As a trained family therapist, I often see the world through a family systems ideology. This means that I am often looking through a lens of  attachments to families of origin, current relationships, how family histories may be affecting today's struggles, and how we can recreate an authentic relationship with ourselves and within our family systems. Jessica has been in mentorship at Gypsy Wind Ranch since 2016 with Laurel Boyer while completing her masters degree in marriage and family therapy from Regis University and obtaining EFL certificates from OK Corral.  We are a private practice that offers individuals and families a unique Equine Assisted Psychotherapy experiential experience utilizing herd dynamics and relationship and traditional psychotherapy from a unique perspective.
